Jim Chastain is the President of Heyward, a leading manufacturer’s representative for water and wastewater treatment equipment serving Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.
Jim has led Heyward since 1986, driving the company’s technical sales, engineering support, and long-standing manufacturer relationships across the Mid-Atlantic region
Prior to joining Heyward, he worked for over a decade at Carolina Power & Light Company as a Principal Engineer in the Power Plant Engineering & Construction Department
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University
Jim is based in Glen Allen, Virginia, and continues to provide hands-on leadership for Heyward’s municipal and industrial water treatment operations
